Transitioning Into Fall

This is the time where most of the world is transitioning from Summer to Fall, packing away the beach bags and dusting off the boots.  You don’t have to put away all your Summer wardrobe staples.  With clever layering and a few different accessories, your favorite Summer pieces can be worn in the coming cooler months.  My next few outfit posts will highlight these transitional pieces and my take on how to style some of them.  Here’s to ushering in my favorite season.

Summer Staple #1: The Sheer Cover Up
This floral print blouse is a sheer Summer cover up top, to be worn over a bathing suit or dress, but it transitions easily into Fall when added to jeans and a long sleeve shirt, topped off with a belt and boots.  The rich hues also lend themselves to multiple seasons.

    1. I really appreciate that! The more I travel I realize that the rest of the world embraces color, in their clothes, their jewelry, design and I draw inspiration from that. I enjoy taking risks with color and being bold!
