I Walk The Line

It’s a fine line, this fashion thing. A delicate balance between just the right amount of accessories and looking like you just got hired at Ringling Brothers. The perfect mix of this pattern and that print. The art of selecting the perfect shoe. I am inspired by those that can effortlessly layer and compose an outstanding ensemble that marries their self-expression and puts a smile on those around them. With global prints and accessories as my staples, I am choosing to layer with unexpected choices. Challenging myself to be daring enough to pick the color, or print, or necklace that is the least predictable just to add that extra twist to my daily wardrobe.  For example, I had a choice between a black hat and this houndstooth print hat and I chose this one because it was a little more funky and the black would have been a safer choice.

This outfit is filled with lines and stripes as a reminder that in this fashion world, I choose to be adventurous and walk the line!
