Summer of Wanderlust – Luxor Look Book

There is nothing quite like the Egyptian sun.  When the day is long and the sun dips to the horizon, a glow is cast across the land, bathing the ancient and the new in its warmth, as if to connect the past with the present in a single moment.

Blessed to have visited Egypt twice, my favorite city by far is Luxor.  It is home to so many archeological treasures and offers the ultimate journey into ancient Egypt.  On the East Bank of the Nile lies the extensive Luxor and Karnak Temples, where you can get lost in a maze of massive columns covered in hieroglyphics and walk among giant statues of kings past.

Head to the West Bank and you will find the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the second female pharaoh of Egypt and the extraordinary Valley of the Kings where the tombs of pharaohs are burrowed into the mountains.

Luxor is a gift. It was my honor to stand in the presence of history and lay my eyes on another time.  This look book is inspired by the glimmer and mystery of this amazing city and I hope you enjoy it!
