Friday Fly Away – Uluru

Today we are headed to the Outback to visit the majestic rock formation, known by its Aboriginal name, Uluru.  Also known as Ayer’s Rock, it’s a sacred place for the Aboriginals, dotted with cave paintings, fresh springs and caves.  We’ll hike around the land and feel the sun captured in the stone as we lay against it.  We’ll watch this massive rock change colors as the sun sets and the night falls.  This peaceful, ancient spot is where we’ll stay until next Friday.
